Montara Resident To Play In ITF Seniors World Team Championships
Tracy Houk named to Women's 50 and over Bueno Cup team to play in France June 8-13.
The USTA has announced that Tracy Houk of Montara, Calif., is among the 24 players who will represent the United States at the ITF Seniors World Team Championships, the senior equivalent of tennis’ Davis Cup and Fed Cup competitions. The 24 American athletes will be competing against players from 29 other countries.
Houk will compete on the Women’s 50 and over Bueno Cup team. In 2013, Houk led her squad to the world championship, and last year the team took the runner-up silver award.
The ITF Seniors World Team Championships is the highest-ranked event on the ITF Seniors Circuit for male and female players in the age categories 50-60 and will be held June 8-13 in La Baule, France.

The American women will be defending the title in the Maureen Connolly Cup (Women’s 55) for the fourth consecutive year.
Following the ITF Seniors World Team Championships, the World Individual Championships will be held June 14-21, also in La Baule.
