PHOTO OF THE DAY: Moon Over Pigeon Point Lighthouse

Elements aligning just so to catch the perfect shot.

by Phil McGrew

Our unusually warm winter weather afforded a shot that is usually not possible.  The rare moon/lighthouse alignment, good weather, good timing, and a moonset just prior to sunrise all contributed to the success of this photo.
