'Unseasonably Hot Temps' Bound For Half Moon Bay: Record Highs Expected Around Bay Area

NWS officials are calling for a "rapid warming trend" around the region this week. Find out when temperatures will peak. (breaking)

HALF MOON BAY, CA — Weather officials are warning Bay Area residents to prepare for some unseasonably hot weather in the coming days. The "rapid warming trend" is expected to peak on Tuesday, but temperatures will likely remain above normal through the end of the work week, "and perhaps into the weekend," according to the National Weather Service. Currently, it's expected to remain dry through Halloween.

As for Half Moon Bay in particular, here's what you can expect weather-wise through Sunday:

Sunny, with a high near 82. Breezy, with a north northeast wind 17 to 24 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Monday Night
Clear, with a low around 57. Breezy, with a northeast wind 14 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.
