80% of the produce from our farm is donated to the Coastside low-income community and we'd love your help on the first Volunteer Day of the season, Sunday, June 22. Please join us from 9-12 for light fieldwork - planting & weeding - and stay for our potluck lunch from noon on. It's a kid-friendly event, but no pets. Come for the entire 3 hours to work or just for part of it; any help is appreciated.
Be prepared for Coastside summer weather by dressing in layers, wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty and bringing a hat and gloves and sunscreen. If you’re staying for lunch, please bring a dish to share.
This is a public event so please pass the word freely. Go ahead and mention us online or in school or church or parents’ groups.
