1 Injured In Healdsburg Shooting, Police Say

HEALDSBURG, CA — The Healdsburg Police Department was continuing its investigation of a shooting Sunday that left one person injured.

The police department received reports around 6:10 p.m. Sunday about a shooting on Front Street near the railroad tracks and Railroad Park, police said Monday.

Officers responded and confirmed there was a shooting in the area and that a man suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Around 6:52 p.m., police sent out a Nixle alert about the police activity and asked the public to avoid Front Street between Memorial Bridge and Hudson Street. An investigation ensued until around 12:10 a.m. Monday when police sent another Nixle alert and said the police activity had concluded.
