WINDSOR, CA — Two brothers whose bodies were found Monday morning in Windsor appear to have died from drug overdoses, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office said. The men were identified as Hector Garcia, 37, and Juan Garcia, 31, both Windsor residents, sheriff's Spokeswoman Misti Wood said.

The brothers were found dead inside a barn on an agricultural property in the 9000 block of Starr Road just outside Windsor town limits, Wood told Patch.

Deputies and detectives were summoned to the scene around 7:45 a.m. in response to a call from emergency medical personnel, Wood said. Paramedics had already declared the two men deceased when sheriff's personnel arrived, she said.

Although a "drug substance" was found at the scene, Wood said the sheriff's office won't speculate; Rather, toxicology tests will be performed during the autopsies to reveal exactly what type of drug the brothers fatally ingested, Wood said.
