3 Teens Arrested After Gang-Related Confrontation Prompts High School Lockdown
The three teens were subsequently arrested and booked into juvenile hall.
HEALDSBURG, CA — An off-campus gang fight led to a Healdsburg school going into lockdown and the arrest of three juveniles, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office.
On Friday just after 10:30 a.m., deputies were sent to the 11000 block of Los Amigos Road in Healdsburg on a report of a disturbance involving a gun.
According to the Sheriff's Office, school officials reached out to them after a confrontation took place roughly 30 minutes prior. By the time deputies arrived, the three suspects were already on the Healdsburg High School campus and back in class.

At about 10:47 a.m., the high school implemented a shelter-in-place in response to a student on campus who was possibly armed with a gun. Numerous deputies and Healdsburg Police officers responded and detained the three suspects on school grounds. The lockdown lasted approximately 50 minutes. No firearm was located on campus, the Sheriff's Office said.
According to investigators, two victims were leaving a residence for school when a silver car blocked their path. A juvenile suspect exited and confronted one man; the two exchanged gang-related insults. A second vehicle then pulled up behind them, and a juvenile passenger got out. The victim retrieved a machete from his car to defend himself, while the passenger returned to the second vehicle and retrieved a black gun he held at his side. The victims escaped by driving away, the Sheriff's Office said.

A 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment, challenging another person to a fight, conspiracy to commit a crime, a gang enhancement, and possession of alcohol on school property.
A second 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of challenging another person to a fight, brandishing a firearm, conspiracy to commit a crime, and a gang enhancement.
A 17-year-old was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit a crime, a gang enhancement, and possession of alcohol on school property.
