4 Suspected In Attempted Assault-Style Rifle Deal In Healdsburg: HPD
A Petaluma man was among four arrested after police found an AK-47–style rifle, loaded handgun, and ammunition at a Healdsburg plaza: HPD.
HEALDSBURG, CA — Healdsburg police arrested four people suspected of trying to sell an AK-47–style rifle at a shopping center after also recovering additional firearms and large-capacity magazines.
Police received information on Saturday that an individual was trying to sell an assault-style rifle, according to a statement on social media.
Investigators arranged a meeting with a suspect, who arrived with several other people at the Vineyard Plaza shopping center on Vine Street about 6:45 p.m.

Investigators searched the vehicles, finding an unregistered AK-47–style rifle with a loaded large-capacity magazine, an additional large-capacity drum magazine, and a loaded handgun, according to the Healdsburg Police Department.
Healdsburg Police identified the suspects as Luis Armando Alvarado-Nova, 22, of Ukiah; Pedro Uriel Gutierrez-Alvarado, 22, of Fort Bragg; Isabel Griselda Alvarado-Novoa, 21, of Ukiah; and Rafael Ramirez-Hernandez, 39, of Petaluma.

They were taken to the Sonoma County Jail.
