Assemblymember Chris Rogers Hosts Town Hall Monday

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Assemblymember Chris Rogers will host a public town hall Monday in Windsor, giving residents an opportunity to ask questions, share concerns, and discuss issues affecting California's sprawling Second Assembly District.

The event is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday at the Windsor Senior Center, 9231 Foxwood Drive.

California's Second Assembly District stretches across Sonoma, Mendocino, Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties, encompassing coastal communities, rural timber regions, agricultural areas, and the Russian River and North Coast corridors.

Rogers, a Democrat, was elected to the California State Assembly in 2024 after serving for nearly two decades on the Santa Rosa City Council, including multiple terms as mayor. Before joining the Legislature, he became known for his work on housing, wildfire recovery, transportation, environmental protection, economic development, and local government issues.

In Sacramento, Rogers serves on several Assembly committees addressing topics such as local government, natural resources, utilities, and wildfire resilience. Since taking office, he has focused on strengthening disaster preparedness, expanding housing opportunities, supporting North Coast businesses and agriculture, and securing resources for communities recovering from wildfires and severe storms.

Monday's town hall is expected to cover state legislation and regional issues affecting communities throughout the district, while giving residents an opportunity to speak directly with their representative.
