Bank Robbery Investigated In Cloverdale

CLOVERDALE, CA — A Cloverdale bank was robbed Tuesday by a man wearing baggy clothes and a face covering, the Cloverdale Police Department said.

At 3:48 p.m., the suspect, described as a white male adult, entered Chase Bank at 103 S. Cloverdale Blvd. and approached a teller. He demanded money, implying he had a gun, although he did not show a weapon and no one saw it, police said.

The robber fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The Cloverdale Police Department promptly responded and searched the area but did not find the suspect.
