Body Found In Burned Windsor Condo, Sonoma Co. Fire Official Says

The unit where the elderly occupant was found was heavily damaged by fire, an investigator with the Sonoma County Fire District said.

WINDSOR, CA — A woman was found dead in the bedroom of a condominium that burned Friday morning in Windsor.

Sonoma County Fire District Battalion Chief Robert Johnson said the downstairs bedroom was the origin of the 6 a.m. fire at 150 Courtyard East.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, and the Sonoma County Sheriff's office said the victim's name was not available Friday afternoon.
