It is 2013. I feel it will be a good year. Governor Brown signed the Cottage Food Act into law in 2013. Speechless Cakes has been resumed again! Sadly, Speechless Cakes had to close on 2010. The kitchen costs were prohibitive. But, gladly, in 2013, I can bake at home. Yippee.
I bake modern cookies, Raisin Dusted Oatmeal Cookies, Raspberry Dusted Brownie, Pistachio Dusted White Chocolate Chip Cookies, Salted Caramel Apple Cookies. The fruit is freeze-dried and I turn it to a powder. So, modern. ha. And Ciabatta, focaccia. bread. Yummy.
In June, I will be selling at Healdsburg's Farmer's Market. Wednesday 4:30 to 6p. Stop by if you are in the area. And see me in Evita at the Raven Theatre June 21 to July. I will be dancing.
