HHS canned food drive a success, most recent updates

Latest news and updates from HHS as of 11/20

Updates:

-Thanksgiving break begins 11/21 and ends 11/25.

-Students are able to enter the annual Martin Luther King Speech contest on December 7th at 3:20 in the Career Center.

-Community service opportunity:  scoreboard and shot clock operators are needed for both Boys and Girls JV Basketball games. Contact Coach Bingham if interested.

-The HHS Food Drive ended on Friday, November 18th. HHS collected about 1,000 cans. Great job!

-Check out the new Hound's Bark website. There are student interviews, articles, and "No-shave November" features. Check back regularly and take our new poll at www.thehoundsbark.com.

-Jostens came to measure the seniors for their gowns on Monday, November 14th. Students are able to purchase class rings and graduation products. 

-HHS annual Blood Drive will be on December 7th. Students must be 16 to donate. Sign up in the main office.

-There is a job opportunity at Max Machinery as a shipping clerk. Call HHS for more information.

-The is sponsoring a trip to see Bizet's opera "Carmen" at the San Francisco Opera House on Sunday, December 4th. Bus transportation will be provided. If students are interested they can sign up in the main office. 

-The HHS freshman class is hosting the annual Reibt Pasta Dinner on December 9th, 5:30-7:30. For tickets contact the HHS main office.

Scholarships:

-Students who are applying to college in the field of engineering should contact Mrs. Nimmo about the ASHRAE Scholarship ASAP!
