SF GIANTS BASEBALL

As of today, the have 21 wins and 16 losses, placing them 1st place in the National League Western division.  The Giants have won their last six games, and they have won eight out of their last nine games.   

How many of you remember baseball names like Babe Ruth, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra?  Well, our SF Giants just won the World Series, and now lead their division, and they're doing this with a bunch of no-name, hard scrapping, torturous at times baseball players...from rookies and young to older and mostly forgotten veterans, with a crafty stink-eyed coach.  

 Of course, the regular season has a long way to go...approximately 125 more games, and as the reigning World Series champions, every competitor is gunning for them!  I believe in the history of baseball, only three teams have won consecutive World Series, so the odds are against the boys to repeat. 

But the Giant's fans with their recent playoff and World Series experiences have become even more demonstrative in showing their support of the boys and finding reasons to boo the opponents, and this so-named 'tenth' man of 40,000+ rabid fans is making a difference.
