CLUBS
The clubs at Healdsburg High School met at lunch time to discuss future events such as planning Food Court Day or discussing relevant topics.
Food Court Day is a day when clubs or any organization is allowed to sell food during lunch in the quad area.
This only happens four times a year, but it is a great time for everyone in the school to come together in the quad and listen to music and munch on home made pizza from the Culinary class, or corn on the cob from the Mayo Club.
SPORTS
This past weekend the girls and boys tennis teams hosted its first “Mixed Generations” Tennis Tournament. Taking first place in the 3.5 division was Healdsburg’s own Peter Jensch. Congratulations!
Winter sports are beginning soon. There are basketball and wrestling tryouts in two weeks, Nov. 7. Open gym has already been available for players to practice before the season begins.
The wrestling team is looking for a team manager and several statisticians to be a part of their team. Anyone interested can come to the cafeteria at 3:10 and speak to one of the coaches in November.
The Spirit Squad, a group of students who love to show their spirit for Healdsburg High School, attended two games this week, first rooting for the Boy’s Soccer team Wednesday and then cheering for the Girl’s Volleyball team Thursday evening.

Several colleges with specific fields will be speaking in early November.
