New Website for Hound's Bark, Other HHS News
A reflection of events and news of last week at HHS.
This last week, the theme at revolved around the versus Windsor High School, Healdsburg's on-going rival.
In preparation, we had Color Week, where four days were designated to each class's color. Tuesday was grey, Wednesday was white, Thursday was red, and Friday was black. The leadership class decided to have a black out at the game, meaning every student was asked to where black in the cheering section.
College is on the minds' of every HHS senior, whether it be scholarships, applications or even choosing which colleges to apply to. Many colleges are visiting HHS on a weekly basis, such as New York University, Redlands, Dominican, etc.

Students sign up on the career center door to listen to the representatives of the colleges speak and answer any helpful questions. Any parents are welcome to come to the presentations as well. Upcoming college visits are:

HHS students participated in the on Oct. 22, helping to maintain a cleaner environment. Many seniors were registered to take the Oct. 22 ACT, a test that is required for college admissions. This week was also nerve racking because SAT scores were reported back to students, another required college admissions test.
HHS was participating in the , where students donated socks and received spirit points for each pair. Those socks were sent in and will be mailed to soldiers in care boxes put together by a Healdsburg resident.
