See 'ART IN ACTION' at T Barny's STUDIO TOURS

Sculptor T Barny invites visitors into his Alexander Valley Studio. 

For two weekends October 10-11 17-18, visitors can explore Barny’s working studio, see sculptures in progress and finished works, and discover how a block of stone becomes sculpture.

At 11 AM and 3 PM each day, Barny will lead a special Studio Tour & Demonstration, sharing the tools and techniques behind his direct-carving process. Visitors can see how he carves and polishes stone, learn about the tools of the trade, and even pick up a hammer and chisel and try carving marble themselves.

With more than 45 years as a sculptor, Barny has created over 1,000 sculptures, working with more than 200 types of stone from around the world.
