Cloverdale Citrus Fair 2022 Postponed Due To COVID Restrictions
Originally set for Feb. 18-21, the Sonoma County tradition & parade are rescheduled to spring to accommodate planning, organizers said.
CLOVERDALE, CA — The 2022 Cloverdale Citrus Fair was rescheduled from mid-February to April 21-24 to allow for adequate planning time after Sonoma County Department of Health's current COVID-related gathering restrictions expire, organizers announced today.
Set to mark its 130th year, the annual event and parade were planned for the Feb. 18-22 President's Day weekend at the Cloverdale fairgrounds — roughly a week after the current health orders expire on Feb. 11, which limit indoor gatherings to 50 and outdoor events to 100 people.
However, the Cloverdale Citrus Fair board of directors voted unanimously Wednesday to postpone until April to better coordinate with staff, volunteers and business partners, officials said.

"The health and safety of our community is our primary concern," said Allison Keaney, Citrus Fair CEO. "Moving the date of Citrus Fair allows us to support the health of all who prepare the fair by shifting that work until after the current health order is lifted, and providing a date that is safer and more comfortable for all patrons."
This year's extravaganza will have an "Under the Big Top" theme, along with the customary citrus and craft exhibits, carnival, entertainment, animals and parade. Follow along here for updates.
