Come and Help Plant the Future at Sonoma County's 6th Annual Laguna Re-Leaf Day

April 11, 2015!

Sonoma County’s great Tree-A-Thon where we plant trees, not walk miles!

What is the Laguna Re-Leaf Day?
It’s like a walk-a-thon except we plant trees instead of walk miles! Volunteers ask friends, family, and co-workers to support them by donating money to help the Foundation’s tree planting restoration project. Funds that are raised in the Laguna Re-Leaf Day support the Foundation’s mission and its Restoration, Conservation Science, and Education programs.

How Can I Help?

  • Sign up today to be a volunteer fundraiser and tree planter. Call Bev Scottland at (707) 527-9277 xt106 for details.
  • Donate to the Laguna Re-Leaf Day by sponsoring an individual fundraiser or donating directly to the event.
  • Please consider sponsoring this event. Visit our sponsorship page to see the benefits and gratitude you or your company will receive as a sponsor!

Who can participate?
Families, individuals, classrooms, and businesses are all invited to participate!

What happens the day of the event?
On April 11, 2015 we will spend about three hours, 9am-12pm, planting 600 native trees and shrubs. This planting will create healthier wildlife habitat, mitigate climate change, and improve air and water quality by restoring the riparian cover along Irwin Creek. After all your hard work, we will celebrate with a lunch provided by the generosity of our Gifts In-Kind Sponsors!
