Edible and Medicinal Plants of Sonoma County

Join Tellur Fenner, well-known Bay Area clinical herbalist and educator, at this two-day weekend workshop as we explore the trails of Pepperwood while learning about the many amazing and functional plants which grow here. This interdisciplinary program will engage students on all levels through a combination of classroom lecture, field exploration and hands-on exercises involving the identification of plants and the discussion of their medicinal, edible and utilitarian properties. You will also learn about safety issues including tips on how to avoid toxic and poisonous plants. Enjoy sampling a variety of edible and medicinal plant preparations and more! Ages 14 and up welcome.
