Dr. Reg Barrett, Goertz Distinguished Professor of Wildlife Management at UC Berkeley, will talk about feral pig and wild turkey populations in the Bay Area. The author of over 170 studies and publications concerning wildlife management, Reg will discuss the history, status and management strategies for wild pigs and wild turkeys in Sonoma County and beyond. Reg has carried out studies of both species at Annadel State Park and Pepperwood Preserve and consulted with the National Park Service and The Nature Conservancy.
