Detectives later identified a red Nissan using footage captured by license plate readers.
An officer stopped the car at about 12:50 a.m. on northbound Highway 101 near the Yolanda Avenue exit.

Police found two black masks, a tactical flashlight, and four garbage bags matching the ones captured on the surveillance video, according to Santa Rosa police. The bags held about 28 pounds of marijuana that police said they suspect was stolen during the robbery, police said. They found no firearms, according to the news release.

Three suspects were arrested and booked into the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility.
