Fire Near Cloverdale Contained: Cal Fire
Breaking: Firefighters remained on scene Thursday afternoon, extinguishing hot spots.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA -- Firefighters contained a fire that spread from a yurt to vegetation Thursday in the Asti area in unincorporated Sonoma County east of Cloverdale, according to a Cal Fire official.
Eighty-one firefighters responded to the blaze, which was reported around 11:45 a.m. on Toyon Lane, Cal Fire Capt. Will Schunk said. Ten engine companies, two air tankers and a helicopter were among the responders.
Less than one acre of vegetation burned and the cause is under investigation, Schunk said.

Firefighters were overhauling the outbuilding and extinguishing hot spots in the area as of around 1:45 p.m., Schunk said.
At 2:45 p.m. Thursday, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office reported that all roads had since reopened in the Asti area.

ORIGINAL POST: A structure and vegetation fire is reportedly burning Thursday near Cloverdale, in the Asti area, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office.
The fire is in the 2600 block of Toyon Lane, according to sheriff's officials.
"We have been asked to shut down roads in the area," officials said in a statement issued at 12:45 p.m. Thursday. "Please stay away."
No evacuations have been reported yet, officials said.
The fire near Mountain Pine Lane and Willow Terrace was reported just before noon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Cal Fire is on scene and requested a road closure at River Road and Palomino Road, CHP reported.
