“It’s critical for junior lifeguards to be aware of these beach safety tips,” explained David Robinson, aquatics director for Sonoma County Regional Parks. “This contest will begin the education process for prospective junior lifeguards, so that they become more aware of the need to use sunscreen, drink plenty of water, understand rip currents, enter the water feet first, and other beach safety tips.”
