Food Network Star Guy Fieri Helps Host First Responders' Lunch In Healdsburg

Food Network star Guy Fieri and local partners including Healdsburg Chevrolet honor the town's first responders with an appreciation lunch.

HEALDSBURG, CA — A recent thank-you meal turned into a feast, Healdsburg style, with celebrity chef Guy Fieri at the table co-hosting a lunch in support of local emergency personnel.

"The Healdsburg Police Department would like to extend our sincere thanks to Guy Fieri, The Guy Fieri Foundation, and Healdsburg Chevrolet for hosting a lunch in support of our local first responders," the department said in a Facebook post.

Police said they appreciated the generosity, recognition, and community support shown to the men and women who protect residents throughout the region.

"Thank you for taking the time to recognize the hard work and dedication of our first responders. Your support means a great deal to all of us," the department wrote.

Fieri has built deep ties throughout Sonoma County over the past several decades. Although he was born in Ohio and raised in Humboldt County, the restaurateur has long lived in Santa Rosa and has become one of the North Bay's most visible philanthropists.
