Celebrity chef Guy Fieri’s restaurant, Tex Wasabi’s, has been shuttered for construction, according to a Facebook post.
In a post dated Monday, the restaurant said it was closing for repairs.
The Tex Wasabi’s location in Santa Rosa is no stranger to construction repairs. In 2009, it was closed for 19 months after a sewer pipe ruptured, causing severe water damage.

It’s unclear when the restaurant will reopen. The Facebook does not list an estimated reopening date.
“We will update our website once we have a construction timeline established and a reopening date,” the post said.

Plumbing issue, it seems, is the reason for this closure, according to Biteclubeats.com.
The restaurant is Fieri’s only eatery in Sonoma County.
