Art of Gastronomy is a national juried art exhibition that presents the passion of food and drink, the mystique and culture surrounding it, the kitchens and environs where cuisine is prepared, served and consumed, the people involved in its preparation and presentation, and of the food and drink itself as seen through the eyes of artists who taste and appreciate each meal with gusto, and preserve memories of gastronomic adventures and experiences through their art. Art of Gastronomy serves to bring to light, the grueling planning, exacting elements and attention to detail that go into making fine bites and sips memorable.

Art of Gastronomy is a national juried art exhibition consisting of original artwork selected by jurors Spring Maxfield, Charlie Pendergast, Vicky Kumpfer and C.K.Itamura. The exhibition includes 111 works by 72 artists from across the United States, in mixed media, assemblage, fiber arts, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, photography, painting, drawing, glass and metal. Poetry, flash fiction, song curated by Cynthia Helen Beecher round out the Art of Gastronomy experience.
