Healdsburg Airport Repairs Close Taxiway And Runway In August
FAA-funded pavement work begins Aug. 17, limiting hangar access and temporarily closing the runway twice.
HEALDSBURG, CA — Healdsburg Municipal Airport will block access to its hangars for nearly three weeks while construction crews replace deteriorating pavement that could otherwise create dangerous debris near aircraft.
The main taxiway is scheduled to close August 17 to Sept. 4.
The city will close Taxiway A, between A1 and A4, along with taxiways A1 and A3. Officials said crews could reopen the taxiways sooner if the FAA-funded work ends ahead of schedule.

Airport users will be able to take off and land, and fuel their planes, but not access their hangars during this time.
The runway will also close from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 21 and Aug. 27.
