Healdsburg Announces Road Closures For Día De Muertos
Roads at Healdsburg Plaza and the surrounding downtown area will be closed from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. the day of the event.
HEALDSBURG, CA — Road closures will be in place from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, for the annual Día de Muertos celebration event in the Healdsburg Plaza and surrounding downtown streets, city officials announced.
Road closures include:
- Plaza Street, between Healdsburg Avenue & East Street
- Matheson Street, between Healdsburg Avenue and East Street
- Center Street, between North Street & Healdsburg Police Department driveway (130 feet South of Matheson)
The event, which runs from noon until 6 p.m. Sunday at Plaza Park, is co-sponsored by the City of Healdsburg and Corazon Healdsburg. There will be live music, dance performances, food vendors, a car show, children's activities, and traditional elements of Mexican culture including ofrenda altars with photos, sugar skulls, and more.
