A Healdsburg Necklace? Jewelry Inspired by the Wine Country

Olive and Poppy, an upscale online retailer of products inspired by California Wine Country, has released of its first jewelry collection.

Each of the five pieces in the line were designed to encapsulate the wine country lifestyle and signify the memories the wearer made while there.

Founded by Napa Valley residents Anne Siegel and Nicole Hughes, Olive and Poppy products create a stylish, wearable memory that captures a true sense of place. Each thoughtfully crafted piece is designed to connect the wearer with a moment spent in California Wine Country, whether that moment lasted a weekend or exists year round.

The name Olive and Poppy is inspired by the vibrant, visual representations of the two parts of nature that are synonymous with wine countries throughout the world. Come spring, there are always thousands of colorful poppies growing alongside the groves of olive trees that line winery driveways.

“We kept hearing from our friends that they wanted something meaningful to take home from their visit to wine country, but that they weren’t finding anything that was personal or specific to their experience,” said Anne Siegel, Co‐owner and Designer for Olive and Poppy. “During the design process, we stayed focused on creating pieces that were true to our relaxed, modern style and that we knew our friends would covet.”

The signature piece in Olive and Poppy’s debut collection is the Terroir Necklace (SRP $94.00), an oval shaped pendant that is reminiscent of the appellation signs you see throughout the Napa Valley. Made in either gold or silver plate, the Terroir Necklace is available with an engraving of the Napa Valley, Sonoma or Healdsburg Wine Country.

Another hallmark of the line is the uniquely crafted Barrel Bracelet (SRP $84.00), which is made from recycled French oak wine barrels that were used to age Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, and colored lucite. This statement piece comes in three signature colors—Kelly Green, Milk White or Poppy Pink.

Each of Olive and Poppy’s designs is finished in stylish gift‐ready packaging. All of Olive and Poppy’s jewelry designs are presented in a white muslin bag with the signature illustration of an olive and poppy. The pendant necklaces are all displayed on elegant card stock with gold stamped quotes that illustrate the significance of that particular piece.

“Our first collection is a line of jewelry, but more items will soon follow that will include additional accessories and items for the home,” said Nicole Hughes, Co‐owner and Designer at Olive and Poppy. “We want our pieces to become the go‐to gifts for anyone who appreciates the wine country as much as we do!”
