Healdsburg Teen Arrested In Armed Robbery Investigation
Detectives arrested the teen at his Healdsburg home in the 400 block of North Street.
SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A Healdsburg teenager suspected of having been part of an armed robbery was arrested after investigators said they found a handgun, cash, and suspected cocaine during a search of his home.
According to the Santa Rosa Police Department, officers were dispatched around 5 p.m. Jan. 25 to investigate an armed robbery. The victim said a man approached him at about 2 p.m., pulled a handgun from a satchel, pointed it at him, and stole a piece of jewelry. Investigators identified a 16-year-old Healdsburg resident as the suspect.
Detectives arrested the teen on Jan. 25 at his Healdsburg home in the 400 block of North Street.
Detectives recovered a .45-caliber handgun, ammunition, approximately 14 grams of suspected cocaine, and cash. The teen is on probation and barred from having a firearm. He was arrested and transported to Juvenile Hall. His name was not released because he is a minor.
