Healdsburg Voters Approve Keeping Fluoride In City's Water
Measure P won two-thirds of vote, according to preliminary results.

Healdsburg voters overwhelmingly voted Tuesday to keep fluoride in their water system, according to complete unofficial election results.
Measure P won about two-thirds approval and needed only majority approval to pass. Voters initially approved fluoridation of the water supply in 1952.
Dentists and doctors supported both sides of the issue, but opponents claimed fluoride causes fluorosis - unsightly discoloration of teeth -- and said half the country’s youth suffer from it.
