Valentine's Day Is Made For This Wine Country (Super Cute) Goat Event
"Goat My Valentine" is heading north Feb. 14 to Wine Country for the first time.
BAY AREA, CA — Forget roses and chocolate — Valentine’s Day is going full goat.
The “Goat My Valentine” celebration — known for drawing lines of smitten animal lovers — is making its Sebastopol debut Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Crooked Goat Brewery at The Barlow.
The family-friendly event features rescued baby goats dressed for the occasion, live music from Tumbleweed Soul, and a relaxed afternoon built around community connection — with proceeds benefiting local animal rescue efforts.

All proceeds from the photobooth go to the Goatlandia Farm Animal Sanctuary in Sebastopol.
The event began several years ago in San Francisco, where dozens of people lined up for the Goat My Valentine Day Fashion Show in Union Square. Organized by Adam Swig in partnership with the nonprofit Value Culture, the event became known for its goat appeal combined with a playful spirit, strong Instagram appeal, and feel-good vibe.

Past editions featured “V.I.G.” passes — that’s Very Important Goat — allowing attendees to skip the line for some one-on-one time with the hoofed heartthrobs.
Swig said the Sebastopol edition came together organically through local partnerships and a shared desire to create something joyful for Valentine’s Day in West County.
Expect hay, selfies and smiles.
