Man Reports Halloween Hold-Up By Face-Painted Robber With Gun
The victim told police he was punched in the stomach and robbed of his wallet in a Sonoma Co. Safeway parking lot.

SANTA ROSA, CA – A man told police he was held up at gunpoint, punched in the stomach and robbed of his wallet Wednesday at 6:40 p.m. in a Safeway parking lot in Santa Rosa by a male wearing white face-paint with black paint around his mouth, according to officials.
Officers responded to the store lot on West College Avenue for the robbery report where the victim related how he reportedly was punched and threatened with a handgun by an individual, who then stole the billfold, placed the semi-automatic in his waistband and fled south on Wild Rose Drive, the Santa Rosa Police Department said.
The suspect was described as Hispanic between 25 and 30 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall and wearing a white T-shirt, black hat, black shorts and the face-paint.
