New app Spark gaining ground in Healdsburg

A new social media app called Spark has been gaining popularity with Healdsburgians over the last month. This is no coincidence; Eric Watson, the CEO of Spectafy Labs, which created Spark, chose Healdsburg as one its first locations to launch.

He chose Healdsburg not just for its proximity to San Francisco, but for its unique blend of food, culture and highly active local residents. He is hoping the app inspires locals and visitors to explore off the beaten path, and create an active network sharing cultural events, great food and random happenings, like a good street musician or a new mural being painted.

Spark uses geolocation to hone in on the most exciting stuff happening around each user. People who download the app can look forward to an expanding list of activities that they can take part in, comment on and share.
