One person was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday evening on state Route 116 near Guerneville, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers responded shortly after 8 p.m. to a report of a motorcyclist who crashed into a hillside near the intersection of Route 116 and Cnopius Road, CHP Officer William Ogilvie said. The person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A Sig-alert was issued around 8:30 p.m. and Ogilvie said one-way traffic is in effect.
