Ranch Fire Grows To 750 Acres In Tehama County
The Ranch Fire broke out Sunday afternoon in rural Tehama County and grew overnight.
TEHAMA COUNTY, CA — A brush fire has burned at least 750 acres with 15 percent containment as of Monday afternoon in western Tehama County, south of Redding, authorities said.
The so-called Ranch Fire broke out shortly after noon Sunday, according to the Redding Record Searchlight, near the intersection of Raglin Ridge Road and Colyer Springs Road.
It had burned 150 acres by Sunday afternoon, growing to 550 overnight and 750 by Monday afternoon. After briefly threatening one structure Sunday afternoon, the fire no longer appeared to be threatening any structures, the Record Searchlight reported.

The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
