See Smoke In Sonoma County? Prescribed Burns Happening

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Smoke may be seen in Sonoma County this week because of prescribed burning happening at Foothill Regional Park in Windsor, the Sonoma County Fire District said.

Sonoma County Regional Parks is conducting pile burning through Wednesday to manage and reduce fuels within the park.

There will likely be additional burn days next week, weather permitting, according to the fire district.
