Services Planned For Motorcyclist Killed In Healdsburg Crash
The life of Joseph Paz, 55, of Santa Rosa will be celebrated in services planned for Friday.
HEALDSBURG, CA — A motorcyclist who died from injuries suffered in a crash Dec. 9 in Healdsburg was identified as Joseph Paz, 55, of Santa Rosa, the Sonoma County Sheriff-Coroner's Office told Patch.
A celebration of life for Paz is planned for 11 a.m. Friday at Daniels Chapel of the Roses Funeral Home, 1225 Sonoma Ave. in Santa Rosa.
The celebration is followed by a burial service at Valley Memorial Park in Novato, and then a reception at I.D.E.S.I. Portuguese Hall of Novato.

All are welcome, according to a Facebook post by Brittany Paz, one of two daughters he leaves behind.
An obituary for Joseph Paz was not available online Wednesday night. Friends who commented on the Facebook post remembered his great sense of humor.

The crash that claimed his life happened shortly before at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9. Paz was riding a motorcycle and collided with a car at the intersection of Dry Creek Road and Grove Street.
Healdsburg police were at the scene within one minute and found Paz on the ground.
"Life-saving measures were performed until Bells Ambulance paramedics arrived on scene and transported the motorcyclist to a local area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries," police said. "The Healdsburg Police Department sends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased."
