Here are the top three stories in Healdsburg today:

  1. The buzz about the new positivity hotline from the students of Healdsburg's West Side School shows no signs of slowing down! In case you haven't heard, "Peptoc" is a public art project offering uplifting pre-recorded messages from students ages 5 to 12, and it's currently getting about 4,000 calls an hour, according to KSRO. The hotline is free and offers messages in English and Spanish. If you need a pick-me-up or just want to support local students, dial 707-998-8410! (KSRO)
  2. All of Sonoma County is invited to participate in the Russian River rally for Ukraine tomorrow, Mar. 11, at 6:30 p.m. Participants will meet at the Guerneville pedestrian bridge as the Russian River is lit up in yellow and blue, just like the Healdsburg Memorial Bridge and the Monte Rio Bridge. The Russian River Chamber of Commerce and Lower Russian River Municipal Advisory Council is hosting the event, in partnership with the City of Healdsburg and the County of Sonoma. If you can't make the rally, check out Patch's roundup of 10 ways you can help Ukraine from right here in Healdsburg. (Sonoma County Gazette)
  3. Need a little more greenery in your life? Plan a staycation at the h2hotel on Healdsburg Ave. and take advantage of their styling service, which lets guests decorate their suite with custom foliage from local organic flower farm Dragonfly Floral. As part of the $150 service, you can take home one potted plant and purchase any additional ones you may fall in love with during your stay. It's a bit of a splurge, but it's a great way to support a Healdsburg small business while enjoying a luxurious hotel suite! (Sunset.com)
