• At Hercules' Bay Front Festival, small businesses chase customers amid rising costs (richmondconfidential.org) — Hercules residents packed the waterfront Sunday for the fifth annual Bay Front Festival and the eighth annual Bay Front Run, which raised money for the Hercules Education Foundation's classroom grants. More than 45 mostly home-based vendors and 380 runners joined in, as city leaders highlighted how the event helps small businesses reach local customers despite rising costs.
