Bus Kills Pedestrian and Seriously Injures Elderly Woman
The accident involving a LA Department of Transportation Bus happened at South Catalina Avenue in the Riviera Village area Wednesday night.
A man was killed and a 70-year-old woman seriously injured tonight when they were hit by a bus as they crossed a street in Redondo Beach, according to broadcast reports.
The collision occurred about 6:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of South Catalina Avenue in the Riviera Village area, according to the Los Angeles Times.

South Catalina Avenue near Avenida Del Norte and Avenue I were closed until further notice according to the Redondo Beach Police Department.
According to ABC7, the collision involved a Los Angeles Department of Transportation bus.
