Cantina Real Opening in Manhattan Beach
The well-known Hermosa Beach Mexican restaurant is expected to begin serving in a location on Sepuvleda Blvd.
American Farmhouse Tavern & Dining Hall is on its way out; Cantina Real is in.
At least that's what an ABC notice posted on the business indicates.
That's good news for folks familiar with the Hermosa Cantina Real which has operated for some 50+ years on Pier Plaza. Real Blais, now 82 and still behind the bar, works with his adult son and daughter, Steve and Joline.

Cantina Real's future in Hermosa has been up in the air since the property owner announced that the lot it sits on had been sold to a developer. The property, which includes prime oceanfront land, fell out of escrow and remains for sale.
