City Of Hermosa Beach: Construction Notice | PCH Closure Near Skechers Site August 21-22

The southbound lanes of Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) between Duncan St. and Longfellow St. will be closed during the weekend of August 21-22 for the delivery of a tower crane at the Skechers Development Project construction site at 2901 PCH.

One of the northbound lanes of PCH will be temporarily converted for southbound travel.

**Unfortunately, due to the size of the tower crane, it is not possible to reopen the southbound PCH lanes outside of construction work hours.**

  • Minor travel delays along PCH in Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach.
  • Electronic message boards, directional signage, and flaggers will be used to direct vehicles and pedestrians around the construction zone.
  • Temporary sidewalk closure along west side of PCH with detours for people walking.
  • No access to driveways along west side of PCH for duration of lane closure.
