Gas Prices Continue Free-Fall: Find the Cheapest Prices Around Hermosa Beach

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County fell today to its lowest amount since May 29, 2009, decreasing seven-tenths of a cent to $2.711.

The average price has decreased 86 consecutive days, dropping $1.004 during the streak, including 1.3 cents on both Wednesday and Thursday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The streak is the longest since a 91-day run of falling prices from Sept. 17-Dec. 16, 2008.

The average price is 9.9 cents less than one week ago, 40 cents lower than one month ago and 94.2 cents below what it was one year ago.
