HERMOSA BEACH, CA – Hear the boom? Don't worry. A controlled pyrotechnics scene is scheduled for Thursday around noon, and those near the beach or downtown Hermosa Beach may hear it.
The loud noise is part of the reboot of Veronica Mars, which Warner Bros. Television is filming in Hermosa Beach this week. The Warner Bros Pyrotechnics/Special Effects Team, Los Angeles County Fire’s Public Safety & Film Unit and Hermosa Beach Police Department personnel will be on-site during the event, the city said.
