Hermosa Beach Gas Prices Rise For 18th Straight Day; Where to Fill Up for Less

The streak of increases is the longest since a 36-day run from Feb. 26- April 1.

LOS ANGELES, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose Monday for the 18th consecutive day, increasing .3 cents to $2.867.

The streak of increases is the longest since a 36-day run from Feb. 26- April 1.

The average price is 4.2 cents more than one week ago and 14.2 cents higher than one month ago but 18.4 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The Orange County average price also rose for the 18th consecutive day Monday, increasing .3 cents to $2.865.

The Orange County average price is 4.1 cents more than one week ago and 14.9 cents higher than one month ago but 18 cents less than one year ago.
