Hermosa Beach Gasoline Prices Rise For Sixth Straight Day; Where to Fill Up for Less

The average price is 3.8 cents more than one week ago and 3.1 cents higher than one month ago but 27.9 cents less than one year ago.

LOS ANGELES, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County recorded its largest daily increase since Oct. 30 Wednesday, rising 1.3 cents to $2.757.

The average price has risen six consecutive days, increasing 3.8 cents, including one-tenth of a cent on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 3.8 cents more than one week ago and 3.1 cents higher than one month ago but 27.9 cents less than one year ago.

The Orange County average price also rose by 1.3 cents Wednesday to $2.757. It has also increased for six consecutive days, rising 4.5 cents, including three-tenths of a cent on Tuesday.

The Orange County average price is 4.3 cents more than one week ago and 4.7 cents higher than one month ago but 27.7 cents less than one year ago.

The increases in Orange County follow a 39-day streak of decreases that dropped the average price to its lowest amount since March 10.
