Hermosa Beach to Host Document Shredding for Residents

HERMOSA BEACH, CA — The city of Hermosa Beach will host a free document shredding services for residents Saturday, the city announced Thursday.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hermosa Beach City Hall parking lot.

"This is your opportunity to clean out old files and properly dispose of personal papers without compromising your personal information," the city said in a press release.

The shredding will be done onsite by Athens Services. Residents will be able to witness their documents being shredded. There is no limit on how much or how little residents can bring. The city only asks that residents remove all binder clips.

The shredded paper will be recycled, the city said.
