HERMOSA BEACH, CA – The Hermosa Beach Police Department will host the Community Safety Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, at the Hermosa Beach Community Center, according to a press release. The event will feature safety demonstrations and information from the Hermosa Beach Police Department and other agencies, including demonstrations from the Shakey-Quakey Earthquake Simulator and the LA County Fire Hazmat Squad, the press release said.
Experts will be at the event to offer free child safety seat inspections, pet CPR instructions and more.
“The Community Safety Fair is a chance for all of us to meet and speak with the police officers who protect our City,” Mayor Jeff Duclos said. “It also is a great opportunity to learn about what measures we can take to keep our families and ourselves safe from crime and physical harm.”
